DIY: Lavender Linen Spray
Oh, friends! This is a good one. Scent can be a beautiful part of a good sleep routine. Using this easy DIY nightly will help teach your brain when it is time to shut down for the night. {Plus, Lavender is a naturally calming oil. All the bonus points for that.}
You will need a glass spray bottle. I use a little 2 oz glass bottle I keep on my nightstand. It is best practice to make small amounts and remake every week or two to keep it fresh. Essential oils are powerful tools and anytime I use them they go into a glass or stainless steel container to avoid chemicals hiding in plastic containers.
Other Items Needed:
Water
Lavender essential oil {Always use the highest quality. I use doTERRA.}
Witch Hazel or alcohol {vodka works}
Directions:
Add 10 drops of Lavender essential oil into the glass bottle.
Add in 1 1/2 tablespoons of water
Add in a teaspoon of witch hazel {or alcohol}.
Cap with spray top.
Shake and spray on pillowcase 10 minutes before bed.
It’s that time of year again. Spring is in full bloom and the insects are making their home a little too close. (i.e. inside my home)…
