These are some of my favorite {non-doterra} tools for {just} everyday beauty.
This shea butter is another favorite of mine. I love to purchase from Alaffia because they are fair trade. This shea butter is unrefined and unscented and my skin loves it.

This is one of my favorite oils for my face and body. It is incredibly moisturizing for dry skin. Perfect for those who have dry skin, or who need extra moisture during colder months. I also use this oil in DIYs. It is expeller pressed, hexane free, and vegan. NOW Solutions does not test on animals.
When using essential oils it in invaluable to have resources you can learn from. I will always consider myself a student when it comes to my body and essential oils. Some things are intuitive and sometimes it is a great help to have a guide to turn to. This is my FAVORITE resource book. It is a beautiful book. The graphics are colorful and engaging and the information is thorough. I highly recommend this book for your essential oil journey.
This book is lovely for mommas wondering where to start with essential oils. I loved this book. Easy to read, science without being overwhelming, and lots of practical information on how to get started including DIYs for your whole family.
This is my favorite clean concealer/foundation. I use this every day I wear makeup. I use shades 000 and 00 (I am super pale). They don’t yet have a wide variety of shades but they are adding new shades this year I believe. I hope that they continue to expand their shades because this foundation feels beautiful on and works like a dream. It is very creamy and leaves a slightly dewy finish (which I’m a huge fan of that healthy skin glow).
RMS Lip Shine in Sacred is a go to for when you want just something just a hint more than natural. I like to use this on natural days when I just want a small pop of color on my lips. It has something of a stain quality to it but it isn’t saturated color like a liquid lipstick.
Beautiful Lifestyle Tools
Tongue scraping first thing is an amazing habit to start. This is a great way to complete the detox that your body started during the night.
One of my keys to success for my “drink half my weight in ounces of water a day” goal is to drink from larger containers. If I’m not drinking from a huge 30oz Ball Jar I’m drinking from this guy. Keeps your drink cold (or hot) and it is stainless steel so it won’t leach chemicals. Win/win.
Dry skin brushing is a great way to help invigorate your body and to slough off dead skin cells. I use one like this daily. I love that the handle is detachable so it is easy to travel with. It is like having two brushes in one.
This is my favorite yoga mat. At 6mm it is very comfortable but if you struggle with balance this could be a hindrance instead of help. I’ve not put it through hot yoga so I can’t speak to that but I love using it in my daily practice.
I bought my daughter and I these brushes and we both love them. You unscrew the brush head from the pen part and fill the pen with water. It makes water-coloring on the go super easy (hello, Charlotte Mason homeschooling). I find these are really easy to control and revamped my love for water color painting. I recommend them whether you homeschool or not.
I use these in my traveler’s notebook. I love the grid layout for keeping my pages organized. The pages take most pens and markers like a champ as well.
One of my favorite pens. I journal with this pen specifically daily. It is the one I reach for when I have time to sit and write which almost feels like a lost art. It writes incredibly smoothly and doesn’t have too much bleed through (but can act like a marker so be aware if you hold it in one place it continues to give ink).
I adore these pens for my travelers notebook. They have slightly less bleed-through than the pilot fineliner but don’t feel as lovely to write with. These are my “I have ish to do” pens and the definitely get the job done.
