5 Ways to Use Lemon Oil
Out of the hundreds of ways to use this essential oil - these are my top five.
Natural Sticker Remover
This may be one of my favorite uses of any essential oil. It is extremely gratifying and an immediate hit of “look at the power of these oils”. It’s a natural sticker remover. The caveat: do not use this on plastic. Simply put a few drops on the sticker residue, leave to sit for a moment, and then remove with a towel. It’s magical.
Dusting spray
This dusting spray is easy to make and only has 3-4 ingredients. If you have no interest in a nourishing spray for your wood items simply omit the carrier oil.
Deodorizer
Sometimes our drains can get a little… icky. Here is a quick remedy.
Sprinkle some baking soda into your drain, drop a few drops of lemon oil in, and follow with a splash of vinegar. Let it sit for a few minutes while you do something else, or sit for a moment with something lovely to drink. Simply rinse when you are ready.
Happy Diffuser Blend
Lemon is an uplifting scent. When your home could use an energetic refresh try this diffuser blend:
2 drops Lemon, 2 drops Peppermint, 1 drop Lavender
In your H20
One of the primary chemical constituents of Lemon oil is Limonene. It’s worth a quick moment of your time to dig a little for some research but the short of it is that Lemon oil can possibly assist your body in detoxing when taken internally. I put one drop per 20-30 ounces at least once a day. It’s lovely.
It’s that time of year again. Spring is in full bloom and the insects are making their home a little too close. (i.e. inside my home)…
