Review: Smart Mom's Guide to Essential Oils

Today I read “Smart Mom’s Guide to Essential Oils” by Dr. Mariza Snyder. This easy to read book gives a great overview of essential oils and trusted ways to integrate them into your home.

Snyder takes you through from the bottom floor of learning what essential oils are and how they work to the penthouse suite of how to use them in your every day life. There is an entire section with in-depth information on Snyder’s 25 must-have oils. She includes best safety practices and dilution ratios based on children’s ages. Not least of all, she includes so many recipes for 10 mL rollerballs and DIYs that you will use often in your home. I found the information to be very thorough and complete. The inclusion on information on green cleaning, self-care, and hormone support rounded out the book beautifully.

I highly recommend this book for all of you oily momma’s out there not just for information on how to use essential oils for your kiddos but for yourself as well.
