Tools for your Goals

Essential oils have seeped into every area of my life. I am so grateful that I have these amazing tools but honestly, when things get crazy, it can be easy to forget.

I sat down really quickly and jotted out just a few ways that oils can help support you in the transition to a new year and maybe help you with you goals for this new season.

For motivation (especially for those physical goals - maybe to be more active) Motivate, Peppermint, and Citrus oils can help tremendously. The Motivate blend is one of my all time favorite oils and a go-to on a daily basis. Peppermint I drop under my tongue and rub on my neck and chest before a workout. Citrus oils can help lift your mood if you are feeling extra cranky about having to move your body. (Disclaimer: citrus oils contain a constituent that can cause photo-sensitivity. Don’t apply citrus oils before coming in contact with UV rays. Sniff the oil from the bottle to get the aromatic effects and you’re good to go.)

If you are looking for more grounding in your life, perhaps beginning a mindfulness or meditation practice Balance, Frankincense, and Anchor are beautiful oils. I find all of these oils give me the feeling I have just gotten up from savasana or a beautiful quiet moment in nature. Feeling grounded often allows us to more freely let go of our stresses because we feel safe.

So many start a new morning routine with the new year. Maybe you have decided to wake up early so that you can have some personal time before your day begins. The best way I know to wake up earlier is to sleep better.
