Interruptions

Today has already been a broken path of morning rituals. I made my tea and drank it too hot and burned my tongue something awful. I stayed in bed too long just being in the quiet with my little one sleeping (more like tossing and turning) next to me. I tried to meditate... got a phone call. Loved every second of it. Such love I have in my life. I tried to come back and practice yoga... another phone call. Loved every second of that one too but it was of a more serious kind. Seems like most conversations with my mom are that way. (Especially when little one hasn't been feeling well.)

My rituals have been interrupted all morning. By me, by others, and I could not be in a better space. My heart is full and my mind is clear and I have a smile on my face. Some days this is what makes life beautiful: the interruptions.
