4 a.m.

Today I woke, inexplicably, at 4 a.m.

No reason, no alarm. Just wide awake. I knew if I stayed still long enough I would fall back asleep, but I also knew when I did wake up to my alarm I would feel groggy and angry the rest of the morning. So I got up.

I had the most beautiful morning ever. I took a shower, washed my hair, dried my hair, made tea, took my dog out, meditated, had devotions, spent time with my girl before school and then had plenty of time to get ready for work. It was luxurious and I had time and most of all PEACE.

It is now almost 8:15 p.m. and I feel a little bit like a zombie (and I can´t wait to close my eyes), but how glorious would it be to wake up every day and have that morning? The morning of plenty and peace.

My alarm is set. I'm hoping my internal clock wakes me before the alarm goes off at 4:15. I'm hoping this can be the start of a beautiful pattern of ordering my morning and day before it orders me.
