DIY: Body Spray

We recently went on a camping trip in North Carolina. The place that we camp has flush toilets and sinks but no hot water and no showers. As you can imagine at the end of five days what that would be like. Last year on the same trip I tried sponge bathing. That was a mess and didn't work so well. This year I used my essential oils and came up with some things to help me feel fresher during the trip. This is one of the recipes that I made.

Homemade Body Spray

You will need:
One glass spray cap bottle (I used a 4 oz bottle but as you will see the recipe is proportions so you can use any size you like)
Vegetable Glycerin
Filtered Water
Essential Oils

Directions:
1. Fill roughly 1/8 of the container with vegetable glycerin.
2. Drop in chosen oils. I used Sandalwood, Patchouli, and Grapefruit. I used 3 Patchouli, 2 Sandalwood, and 4 Grapefruit. You can experiment with different oils and combinations. I often sniff the container as I go (while adding to diffuser, homemade recipes, etc) and add what I think needs adding.
3. Fill to top with filtered water.
4. Enjoy!
