What is FLOOT? (aka FLOOM)

I -hilariously- thought to myself the other day, “It has been a long time since I’ve been sick.” I do have a chronic health issue that comes up every now and again but SICK? Not in a long time. I should have knocked on wood.

Of course within a week cooties had entered my home and I got hit hard. The past few days I was using oils to support my body but as my best friend said to me this morning, “You sound like death.” I decided it was time to bring out the big oils because these cooties weren’t budging.

The FLOoot Recipe

I made a FLOOT* rollerball with a little extra oomph from my bestie Copaiba.

In a 10mL I put:

5 drops Frankincense

10 drops Lemon

5 drops Oregano

10 drops OnGuard

10 drops Tea Tree

5 drops Copaiba

Topped off the rest of the 10mL with a carrier oil like Fractionated Coconut Oil

How to Use

Roll on the bottom of the feet, back of the neck and down the spine, and crown of head. Set a timer and apply FLOOT hourly. I applied this to myself and my kiddo who wasn’t yet showing symptoms to help her body do what it is already doing.

Extra Help for Sinus Discomfort

To help with the sinus pain from hell and to help my poor facial nerves that already have issues on one side I have been doing this: 2 drops Copaiba, 2 drops Frankincense, 3 drops Yarrow|Pom in my palm. I mix with one finger and paint my top gums with it and the roof of my mouth. I then use the rest rubbed between my palms (for warmth and comfort) over my cheekbones.

*For years this blend was named FLOOM because doTERRA’s Tea Tree was, at that time, named Melaleuca. It is the same recipe just updated for Tea Tree’s name change.
